An interesting question. The short and simple answer
would appear to be "no" because a mineral is supposed to be a unique designation.
However, minerals are made up of many atoms and even single element minerals like
gold, iron, or silver, may contain inclusions that with very sophisticated tools might
show up in chemical analysis. So,in fact, minerals do vary in chemical composition.
This fact is often used to determine the genesis and subsequent metamorphism of
minerals. The effect of different compositions is within very narrow ranges and usually
in very small amounts but make for some fascinating studies.

What are some reasons why driving a fuel-efficient car is beneficial for themselves, their community, or the nation?
A fuel efficient car can be beneficial to all of these.
For example:
- It benefits the individual because
it ends up costing them less money in gasoline. This can amount to a great deal of
money if gas prices stay as high as they are and/or the person drives a great
deal. - It benefits the local community because it can
reduce the amount of pollution in that community. If more people drive fuel-efficient
cars in a given community, less fuel will be consumed and less exhaust
expelled. - It benefits the nation by reducing the nation's
dependency on oil. This is very important given that much of the oil we use comes from
politically unstable places like the Middle East, Nigeria, and Venezuela. Less oil
consumption means more energy security for the country as we rely less on these
countries to supply us.
What is the geography of pre-revolutionary New England and the Southern and Middle colonies? (compare and contrast)Basically to explain the...
The thirteen British colonies in North America have
historically been divided into three regions, Southern Colonies, New England Colonies,
and Middle Colonies. Each had its unique qualities. Geography played a big role in how
each region developed. The Southern colonies had rich soil, mild winters, a long
growing season, and abundant rainfall. This led the Southern colonies to turn primarily
to agriculture and the creation of large plantations and reliance on slave labor. The
New England colonies had harsh winters, a short growing season, and good harbors. This
led them to turn more to manufacturing and commerce, and farming on a much smaller scale
than the South. And then there were the Middle colonies. They had fertile soil,
moderate winters, rolling hills, and mineral deposits. This led the Middle colonies to
have a much more diverse economy than the Southern or New England colonies. The Middle
colonies developed an economy that was based on a combination of agriculture similar to
the Southern colonies and manufacturing and commerce similar to the New England
colonies.

I need to find a Transendental primary source, but all the ones I find are very long. I need one with quotes I can connect to modern day. Help...
If you are looking for poetry by either Emerson or Thoreau
which depicts examples of why their texts are considered Transcendental, you may want to
look at the following poems (both poets were always looking for beauty in both nature
and the spirit of the individual). The following exemplify these
ideals.
"Celestial Love" by Emerson and
Waldon by Thoreau (specifically the chapters titled "Brute
Neighbors,” “Sounds,” and “Solitude").
Outside of these
examples, if you are looking for a primary source which describes very critical and
specific aspects of both Emerson's and Thoreau's writings as being ones characteristic
of the Transcendental movement, you can examine the link which follows this post. The
article, written by Levi Asher, states the following:
readability="10">
Socially, the Transcendentalists stood for
equality of women and innovation in the educational system. Philosophically they
inclined towards a Platonic sense of idealism. In terms of literature and art, they were
sympathetic towards the same styles the Romantic writers of England were experimenting
with.
Perhaps the best
primary source to examine is "The Dial: A Magazine for Literature, Philosophy, and
Religion." This magazine is mentioned in Asher's article and many others which discuss
the Transcendental movement, Emerson, and
Thoreau.
In Act Two, what are the purposes of handling the events of court through narration rather than through dramatic presentation?
One possible reason for this technique is to reiterate the
historical nature of the play. In researching the Salem witch trials, Arthur Miller read
historical records, including testimonies from the trials themselves. Since the only way
for contemporary audiences to learn about the trials is via these historical documents,
it makes sense to portray this portion of the play with narration rather than with
dialogue. In this way, readers and audiences of the play are reminded that history is
relayed through the records created by those present. In this case, the portrayal of the
witch trials came from court officials and clergy, both groups that were predisposed to
sanction the persecution of the accused. Narration is a way of communicating that our
understanding of history is only made possible by interpreting the records left by those
who lived it.

What do you think about how Republicans are rewriting election laws as discussed in this article? The article is...
Although I vote Democratic more often than I vote
Republican, I cannot get too upset about the laws that the Republicans are passing. The
Republicans believe what they are doing is right, and they are also doing it because it
is beneficial to them politically. The same was true of the Democrats when they passed
many of the laws that the Republicans are now trying to
repeal.
In each of the examples of what the Republicans are
doing, there are valid reasons for doing so. It does not seem unreasonable to require
that a person should prove who they are with a photo ID in order to be allowed to vote.
It is not unreasonable to cut the number of days on which early voting will be held.
Doing so would save money. In addition, there is a philosophical argument to be made.
Some would argue that a person who really cares would make the effort to vote even if
there were only one day when voting was possible. If the person does not care enough to
make it on the days allowed, perhaps they should not be
voting.
This is not to say that I agree with these
arguments. However, I recognize that reasonable people can agree with them. So, what
it comes down to is that the Republicans are doing something that is in accord with
their ideals and with their political interest. I can't fault them for that,
particularly since Democrats have done the same thing when they have had the
chance.
How does a solar vehicle work?Hi i'm researching about alternative fuels for vehicles in the future. Currently, i need information based on...
Like other solar-powered devices, a solar car gets its
power directly from the sun. Solar energy radiates from the sun and is collected by a
solar panel mounted on the vehicle. The solar power can be directed to the motor or may
be stored in a battery, depending on the design of the car. Individual solar cells or
one larger solar panel can be mounted on the vehicle. When sunlight hits the solar
panels, photons (or light particles) push on the electrons inside the panel, and the
electrons are moved from one layer of solar cells to another. The movement between
layers of solar cells creates an electrical current across the metal of the solar cells.
Most solar-power cars use silicon solar

Components
The key component in a
solar car is the photovoltaic array, which converts solar power into electricity. The
electric energy goes directly to the motor when the car is being driven. However, a
battery stores solar power in the form of chemical energy when the motor is turned off.
Power to the motor is managed by motor controllers. An accelerator tells the motor
controllers how fast the motor should rotate. Most solar cars have a small motor
constructed of strong magnets. Japanese solar power cars have designs that include a
natural magnet and an electromagnet inside of the motor, thus converting solar power
into electromagnetic power. It is not necessary to manually shift gears in a
solar-powered car, as the electronic motor handles all transmission automatically, and
power trackers are installed to adjust solar power voltage to the motor's voltage
requirements.
